Which EMBs are eligible?
As per Project Mandate, only Electric Mini and Micro Buses (EMBs) are eligible for SET4NPL subsidies. EMB models of six vehicle suppliers have been shortlisted under the SET4NPL Shortlisting Tender in 2024. These models fulfill the specific minimum technical specifications (MTS) which were determined by the project’s Technical Committee under the guidance of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport (MoPIT). The MTS address important characteristics like e.g., vehicle and battery performance, technical equipment, and warranty terms.
